The Story of Dr. Smoke
It all started with a boy and his BBQ! We are the Dr. Smoke BBQ team, a small team out of Brenham, Texas. The team is comprised of my wife Heather, our baby Brylee, and myself, Justin Margist. We travel all over Texas competing against our great state's best BBQ'ers for chances of winning big money. We started off in 2011 with a Traeger and another grill that was given to us, competing off a low boy trailer. Our very first competition we took Third Place for our ribs, and after that we were hooked! Since then we have slowly upgraded our setup to be the ultimate in cooking and comfort. In the 2015 BBQ season we were 100% placing in the money at every cookoff we attended, which was 25 of them. Along the way we have been helped and have helped many BBQ'ers to better their que. Every Dr. Smoke product is tested in the fires of competition cooking or by friends and family that just can't get enough!
